Following the recent installation of Greenplum Community Edition v4 on my Mac, I decided to give the Greenplum Performance Monitor a spin.
The install guide highlights are as follows:
gpperfmon_install –enable –password gpmon –port 5432
gpperfmon –setup
gpperfmon –start gpdemo
Once installed and started, the Greenplum Performance Monitor web UI is available on ‘gpdemo’ via https://gpdemo:28080/:
Logging is as ‘gpmon’ reveals a slick, fast-loading interface:
Summary – Greenplum Performance Monitor on OSX is easy to install, start and use. Woo-hoo!
